Multilaminated Ash neck with a scarf-joint headstock, utilizing front and back material that matches the body finish. Fretboard made of ash and has a 12th fret inlay made of maple. Dimensions are width at the nut and at the 12th fret. The fretboard features a compound radius that has a tighter, rounder curvature in the lower register, which transitions to a flatter curvature across the upper register. This multiscale layout utilizes the 7th fret as the neutral fret and has 24 stainless steel frets.
3 part body with laminated ash front & back and a center core of spruce for weight management. The control cavity can be pre-routed for 9v battery installation ( active electronics ready). Cavity cover secured by magnets, allowing access without the need for tools.
The instrument is currently wired with a high-quality passive loom, featuring components specifically selected to complement the tonal profile and aesthetic of the build. This includes two proprietary-spec humbuckers (bridge and neck), two volume potentiometers, and one 3-way toggle switch. The hardware includes locking tuners and a toploaded, low profile bridge and locking strap buttons.
Customization option: the current hardware and electronics specification can be customized upon request. Upgrades to alternative components (e.g., brand-name pickups & tuners, advanced wiring) will be priced on a case-by-case basis.
The complete weight of the instrument is 3.0kg, Shellac finish specifically applied to achieve a satin, natural feel and aesthetic. Carved neckjoint for a seamless transition that promotes unobstructed access to the upper frets.
