The Technical stuff

Neck

Three-piece neck assembly (spruce and apple) with a scarf-joint headstock. Fretboard is maple with apple binding and 22 stainless steel frets. Inlay work includes black fretboard markers, white side-dots, and a custom apple web inlay at the 12th fret. Dimensions are width at the nut and at the 12th fret. The fretboard utilizes a compound radius, moderate in curvature, designed to complement classic single-cut measurements. Headstock features apple facing on the front and back, accented with black PVC perloid binding. Includes a matching apple truss rod cover plate.

Body

Three-piece body construction featuring a carved apple top and a carved apple back over a spruce core. The core is covered by a matching apple facing on the sides for visual continuity. The use of a spruce core is implemented for effective weight management. The body perimeter is accented with black PVC perloid binding on both the top and back faces. The instrument adheres to classic single-cut length and width dimensions, while utilizing the dual-carved top and back to achieve a thinner overall depth profile compared to traditional models. The control cavity cover is made from matching apple and features black PVC perloid binding.

Electronics & hardware

The instrument is currently wired with a high-quality passive loom, featuring components specifically selected to complement the tonal profile and aesthetic of the build. This includes two proprietary-spec P-90 style pickups, two volume potentiometers, and one 3-way toggle switch. The hardware includes locking tuners and a tune-o-matic bridge & tailpiece and locking strap buttons.

Customization option: the current hardware and electronics specification can be customized upon request. Upgrades to alternative components (e.g., brand-name pickups & tuners, advanced wiring) will be priced on a case-by-case basis.

Overall

The total instrument weight is 3.3 kg. The carved neck heel promotes unobstructed access to the upper frets. The body and headstock are finished with a glossy varnish application, while the neck and fretboard utilize a durable satin hardwax finish for a natural playing feel.
